Outside Fogo Island Inn’s dining room, the wild Atlantic Ocean crashes over rocks carved by the sea for the past 400 million years. Inside, fishing rope chandeliers cascade from the soaring ceiling of one of the most dramatic buildings on the planet. A profound juxtaposition, yet both outside and in represent the beauty of simplicity.
